Take existing daily and/or monthly files and ingest into data lake/relational environment. Recreate report (currently in access) to recognize unredeemed gift card value. Eliminate manual load of data. Provide ability to join to sales to do analytics on gift card program, eg What is the lift on gift card purchases? Margin? What specific items are being purchased? What types of customers are using them and how do gift cards affect customer retention?
